The Greater Quitman Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Decorated Wreath Contest. The wreaths will be displayed in the Large Pavilion in the City Park. These wreaths will help to add to the other decorations for the holiday season. All businesses and individuals are invited to enter a wreath and there will be a Grand prize awarded. The Quitman Chamber will donate, in the winner's name, $100.00 to Christmas Sharing Plus which benefits area families in the Quitman Independent School area. The winner will be announced during the program at the Lighting in the Park on December 5, 2009. Please bring your wreath to the Chamber office no later than 4:00 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2009.
